we are constantly on the go. It's either to a seminar
sponsored by one of our suppliers to let us know what is new
and exciting with their company and what they are offering for
the next season, or we're off to a ship inspection so that we
can let you know first hand what to expect and to let us know
if you would, indeed, like that particular ship and
itinerary.
There are times that we are even forced to sail on board a ship
to be totally in the know - yes, it's a tough job, but somebody
has to do it! It's our way of keeping you
up-to-date.
Our agents are also encouraged to enroll in the many specialist
programs available to us. In addition to being a graduate
of the International Guide Academy and certified as an
International Tour Manager, I am also an Accredited Cruise
Counselor; a Small Ship Partner; Princess Expert; Bavarian
Ambassador; Forté London Specialist; Scandinavian
Specialist; Kiwi Specialist (New Zealand); Aussie Specialist
(Australia); Canada Specialist; Five-Star Agent with Holland
America Cruises; a Certified Sandals Specialist; and a graduate
of Disney's "College of Disney Knowledge" course. Wow! I
